How can we improve Trakt?

  1. Pokémon

    Pokémon page (https://trakt.tv/shows/pokemon-1997) is completely messed up. I checked both TVDB and TMDB and realised that TMDB list of seasons/episodes is right according to the international order, but there is a problem with TVDB, because since season 16 they're using the japanese order (while seasons 1-15 follow international order). My suggestion is to sync trakt data according to TMDB.

  2. Update metadata for show

    1 show has updated metadata on tvdb and has been unchanged for quite awhile. Can we get it refreshed

  3. Runtime update Cable Girls

    The runtimes for the episodes are set at 50 minutes which isn't correct. Please update according to TheTVDB.

    Good evening, do you ever update the list of this series? If not, why is it part of your catalog? You might as well delete it, you don’t think so? I really appreciate this series and do not admit to finding an empty sheet while your application is rather nice except for the loading time of the pages which is really interminable to my taste.... I am a premium member of application"TV Show Time" and I find that this leaves a little to be desired....@+

  5. TVDB DVD Order seasons support

    TVDB supports multiple season ordering now. This seems to be screwing up some series. For example
    - Downton Abbey Seasons 2-5
    - Archer season 3

    These two examples added a DVD order season with episodes that were considered specials before now in the regular season. But Trakt didn't maintain the same episode IDs. I had checked in to the specials in my watched history, but these new episodes are not watched. Also, episode images are wrong for some of these, specifically Archer.

  6. Wrong episodes

    Heathcliff and the catillac cats season 1 should only have 65 episodes. Each episodes have been split in two between healthcliff and then the catillac cats. The tvdb is wrong, which is what I believe trakt uses for TV shows. Tmdb and wiki are correct. Not sure if this can be fixed.

  7. "Adventures in Wonderland" (1992) Episode List is incorrect

    The 1992 show "Adventures in Wonderland" is listed on Trakt and TMDB as having five-six seasons with 116 episodes, and the order is entirely incorrect. The show actually had three seasons, and a total of 100 episodes. You can find the proper episode list here:

  8. Recent TVDB changes made a complete mess out of the Angry Video Game Nerd seasons

    In TVDB the order of seasons/episodes of the show Angry Video Game Nerd (https://trakt.tv/shows/angry-video-game-nerd) was completely changed. I don't understand why the did it. The old order followed the season-numbering of the DVD releases from that show (https://cinemassacre.com/2016/12/02/avgn-and-jmm-dvds-and-blu-rays-in-stock/) and I can't find the new order, neither at Cinemassacre's official web side nor their YouTube channel.
    Now episodes were moved in other seasons and the old season 6 was removed completely. New season 6 is now season 7 and so on. In consequence many episode title do not have their correct episode number and therefore have incorrect…

  9. Three shows need data removed: Letterkenny, Ani*Kuri 15 and RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars Untucked

    Letterkenny has a bunch of extra specials that don't exist anymore on TVDB. Looks like the only ones remaining are E01-7, E9-12, E16, E22, E25-27. Weird!

    Ani*Kuri15 has been split into three seasons so S01E06-E15 need to be removed since they're now duplicates of seasons two and three

    And frustratingly, somebody has again added a season 5 (that is a duplicate of season 2) to RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars Untucked. It's been removed on TVDB but not before populating here.

  11. Flag deleted TVDB shows

    Trakt relies a lot on TVDB for shows. Sometimes TVDB has duplicates which eventually get fixed. But when that happens, these dupes are still available on Trakt.

    I suggest coming up with a notification system that warns when a show has a TVDB entry disappear. Who would get notified? Well, mostly you guys, since you're the ones with the ability to remove dupes. Maybe you could also add a warning on the show page that the TVDB entry is gone and that Trakt admins are investigating.

    This might cut down on dupes and the constant reports about them.

  13. Unsolved Mysteries Data Source

    It appears Unsolved Mysteries switched from using TVDB as a data source to TMDB. The problem here is that TVDB documents specials that ran prior to the start of Season 1, TMDB does not. This change has messed up my watched progress, since those "Special" episodes have been removed and replaced with a series of "Best Ofs". I'm not an expert on this show, but it seems to me that TVDB is the more accurate source in this case. Is there any way to force this show to use TVDB as the source?

    You told me:
    TV shows use TVDB by default, so it is using the top rated poster and fanart from TVDB (not TMDB) for that show.

    But the above statement doesn't apply on this show which you've refreshed 3 days ago:

    Earlier Trakt used to inherit the posters and backgrounds from TMDB, I don't know what happened now.

    ...and what about the episode screenshots.
    Trakt does contain 1080p screenshots which TVDB doesn't support and because of this error episode pages doesn't have screenshot as a background.

  15. Refresh All Button/Sort shows by last Updated

    Lately I have been going through my Watched History and refreshing each and every show. Problem that I have 1000+ shows in my history.

    I have noticed several things while I have been doing this:

    (1) That some shows have not been refreshed in 2-10 years.
    (2) Some have specials that have been added when I update them.
    (3) Going one by one is time consuming
    (4) I always seem to restart every few days and find out that I have missed a few the first round.

  18. DanandPhilgames needs refreshing

    2017 needs refreshing as it seems that it has repeated episodes which shouldn't be there. I checked TVBD and that is fine. There should be 95 episodes but trakt has 190 in that season. All the other seasons seemed to be fine on both sides, It's just 2017 that seems to have glitched?
