Delete history from a specific date
I recently had an error (probably a problem with an app) and during a single day, my episode play count for all my shows doubled/tripled! I know you can remove the watched statuses one by one, but as I now have thousands of watches in one day, that is just impossible! Also, removing the watched for the entire show is just as absurd! Is there a way to remove all of your plays/watches of a specific date (say Feb 20), so I won't have these extra watches messing up my record? If there isn't, is there a way to implement this? Thanks
This is a great solution http://www.brendanspijkerman.nl/trakthistorymanager/
It's been almost a year and nothing, but it's ok! I used the scripts the other users provided and after a few hours (yes, hours...) I managed to get rid of all my duplicated watches!
If you also have this problem, I just recommend using the scripts and get it over with!

I still get this error everyday. It's frustrating to have to go in and delete the multiples.
All of my duplicates happen within 2-3 minutes of each other as if I watched the show once then watched it again in only 2-3 minutes.
Here is what seems to be happening IMO.
The system gets an "Episode Completed" signal when I stop the show (usually once the credits start rolling).
It gets a second "Episode Completed" signal (I assume from the Trakt site) when the episode would have ended (according to the timer).
Hopefully, someone can look into this soon as it is becoming very annoying.
I found a better and faster way to remove over 2500+ pages.
The other plugins would sometimes mark the episode as played which then caused me even more headaches. I downloaded iMacros for Chrome and I figured out this is the fastest and easiest way to remove duplicates.
Caution: I've turned on the ignore errors options so if something bad happens, such as duplicate plays, delete the SET !ERRORIGNORE YES line.

I found a way... Just use selenium in a loop like this.
open / https://trakt.tv/users/yourusername/history/all/added?page=38
clickat / css=div.trakt-icon-check-thick
clickat / css=button.btn.btn-primary
And wait for the end of this awful day.
Same issue here. No News ?
I've looked into the public API, and there's no way to remove a single play (the history remove API which can remove episodes, shows and movies removes all plays). I can easily make a duplicate play removal app if the API were exposed, but right now, the only way to do it is by hand on the history page.
I had the exact same problem on May 29th. I have 14 pages of movies and TV shows to go through and click 'Only This Play'. There must be a better way. Perhaps an admin could sort this for us?
