Its not redundant if people like to have and see list's like that, so let them. Can you block users? I suggest you do that.
Sounds like you'd rather see new lists, I don't think its as big as a problem as your making it out to be. Currently you can sort by recently added, which would suit your needs.
But still good luck finding your perfect ideal type of list. Avengers Endgame is on 45,000 lists:

I disagree OP. The lists are already sorted by default, "Most Popular". Which should have the most relevance to the most users. You do need to downvote lists, like I do not need to downvote your opinion.
If you wish for another list to become more popular please go and vote for that list instead. I appreciate the feature as it is. It is also very easy to navigate and view all the other lists. Their is also options to sort them to make this easier and perhaps more relevant to your edge case.
I also agree with what you said Justin. Perhaps instead of showing the 3 most popular lists, it could instead just say "Lists" and then display a random one. Or like you said we could hide them, and leave the Lists hotlink under the Movie Title as a way to access them.

A good idea, but not something we are currently setup to do.

I almost didn't want to add the "x edition" entries to this list because like you said they fulfill a need, they're well established and meaningful entries.
I understand this would be a lot of manual work, perhaps it would be better served with a small dose of automation. This list has grown exponentially and I am now currently aware of over 2000 entries with incorrect TMDB URLs. There is no way one person could be expected to process this all manually. Unfortunately I am not a programmer so I cannot offer a solution any further than an idea. Anyhow, thank you very much for your work on trakt.
