Allow certain personal lists to be marked as mutually exclusive, meaning that if i add an item to such a list, it should automatically be removed from any other mutually exclusive list.

I see there is an option to export data. Is it possible now or in the future where a user can export their respective data and later upload that data? Possible use is a backup of data prior to doing some testing, then to restore after ... pull the data to make changes then upload to send the changes to trakt.tv, etc.

I use letterboxd for movies, and trakt for television. But my profile here would be more complete if it added my movies as well. Doing it manually each time, doesn't really make much sense, but if there could be a way for those two to sync automatically that would be great. Perphaps by using IFTTT and the profile RSS feed from Letterboxd.

I have a private profile, but would like to make one of my lists public.

At the moment this doesn't seem to be possible. (Searches for the name of the list, already set to Public, does not return any results. If I go directly to the link of the list when logged out, what shows up is a message that the user is private, and not the public list.)

I would really love that when you're watching some movie's page it would show somewhere that is it a part of some movie set (sequels etc.).

Currently we can remove a single play for a single TV episode or movie. I think it would be great if we could bulk remove all duplicate plays from our entire collection.

When viewing content, I sometimes have to replay because of a streaming error, etc. This causes duplicate plays.

Allowing lists to be "locked". So a movie can't be added or removed from the film page. It can be annoying when a list is "complete" (ex. a film festival or the Top X from year Y) and by mistake I add a movie who has nothing to do in this list because I clicked the wrong one. It hold no sense to propose me to add the movie to a list when the list is "locked" or "finished"

Wouldnt it be awesome when trying to find movies to watch

1. pick friend/s to watch with
2. press a ''lets watch a movie button''
3. get a list of all the movies none of you have seen, with various ways of filtering it of course

this kind of goes towards having a more social and interacting Trakt, and a easy way to sell in trakt to your friends

When taking a glance at the recently watched sections of a user's profile page, it's easy to assume that the user has just watched the movie/show for the first time, even if that user originally watched said movie/show a long time ago. I think that it's very important to distinguish the difference between a first-time watch and a rewatch as they are very different experiences for the user, and that maybe adding a rewatch label/icon or giving the option to hide rewatches from the recently watched sections would be a good idea.

For example: if i watch one or two episodes it doesn't necessarily mean i want to continue to watch the show. therefore if you want, you can subscribe to it or dont, so it would show in my progress page and in my calendar

...to find the perfect cover is very heavy.

Please make an option on lists or elsewhere to change the view from poster/cover to fanart ;)

Marking a season of a show, or the whole show itself, as watched will display each of the show's episode on the history page. Imagine that on a show with 200 episode that you had watched previously, for example. You mark this show as watched and then you check your history. You'll have to navigate through a lot of pages that display the show's episodes and it's kind of an unpleasant experience, especially when you want to review your watched history.

Mark show as abandoned (or dropped) when you intentionally stop watching.

I know you declined this for *all* movies and episodes that haven't been released, because you're not sure if the release date is correct, but could you at least disable it for more distant release dates? (not including episodes with missing dates)
If you enable rating about a month before something's released (maybe earlier if that's necessary), you should be able to know if the exact release date is correct, right?

It would be great to have an official Trakt app to mark shows watched and view upcoming schedules
