Where to watch information
Provide information on where a user can watch the show (OTA, cable station, Netflix, Amazon Prime, Hulu, etc). For instance, an AMC show could have two sources: AMC, Amazon Prime. This way, when we find something we want to watch, we know where to find it! Currently, the mobile app shows a station number (AMC is channel 4?). A clearer identifier would be the network name and, for cordcutters, alternative sources to get the content.
The watch now feature is currently in BETA. We have over 300 sources where to watch items. These links are available to everyone.
In addition, VIP members can use advanced filtering on the TV, movies, calendar, and search pages for specific sources they want to check availability on.
It would be nice to also apply streaming service as a filter. I could totally eliminate a 2nd TV app I use (JustWatch)
Really, I want a 'watchable/streamable' filter, which only shows TV shows either part of basic cable or netflix/hulu/amazon. This'd filter out stuff like HBO/Starz/Disney/etc., and show only shows I can actually watch with what I'm paying for. Which services to include could be fixed one-time toggles in settings
This would make that $7 "full version" worth it to me, as I have 307 shows tracked on SeriesGuide, 132 continuing. (as a side note, a 'continuing' filter would likely approximate this filter with less effort, though not as well)
Yes, under the poster on any movie, show, season, and episode there will be a "watch now" button. There will also be a "play button" icon when viewing other sections like your calendar and the TV and movie sections.

By the way, where exactly do we find those links? Will this information be displayed on each show/movie page?
Now that I think about, it would be even better for users to choose the sources they want to see from the settings, for instance.
i was hoping this might be a way for me to make a combined watchlist from hulu and netflix. i hate what hulu did to their queue. i don't think it's smart. i can't find series that are really old that i had to watch later. only new ones. i thought that with trakt i could create my own list but you don't even have links to hulu or netflix.

Really interested in this as well! Would pay VIP access for this feature.
This is an extremely important feature for me, and if this one feature was implemented, I'd pay for a subscription to Trakt in a heartbeat.
I think it would be nice if, on a show or season's page, the availability of the show is written somewhere. For instance, the show Leverage is available on Netflix and HuluPlus.
Really I'm looking for a function similar to that of www.CanIStream.it
Would be nice to add a 'feature' that would say where we can watch a movie, ( netflix, fandor, hulu, amazon, itunes) like what justwatch[dot]com do.
I don't know if possible to implement but i'd like to have that option
Edit: should be CanIStream.it
It would be really helpful if the page for a movie or show listed the services (e.g. Netflix, Amazon, Hulu, etc.) where it could be streamed. Maybe there could be integration with or at least a link to a site like CanISream.it or JustWatch.
