The New site...
It's soo bad, soo soo soo soo bad please go back to the original
Changelog of updates we’ve made plus what is planned. (just because its not listed doesn’t mean its not planned)
(this topic has run its course, please refer to the change log as we continue updating the site)
It seems the website is nearly fully functional in Internet Explorer, but when viewed with Firefox or Safari on my iPad, it is completely non-functional. Overlooked or something that is still in progress?

I used to use this to be able to see any shows I've missed, mark those I've seen and see what's to come in the next week, month or season for my favourite shows.
Now I can only see a % completed no way to sort to those I need to watch, no way to sync using my phone (EVERY app for android tried and not one will work)
All I want to do is to be able to mark when I've seen a show and see those I've yet to mark without traipsing through pages of shows only sortable by name and not amount unwatched.)
I hope these fixes are coming soon.
Sorry guys, this is awful. I never truly found trakt to be particularly user friendly, but this new design just takes the cake. It’s not intuitive at all, there are no tooltips, and the graphics are just too plain. Hooray for minimalism - NOT if I checked, unchecked, checked in again one and the same episode today because the buttons are just not self-explanatory enough.
Colours, image size, and placement are horrible; who comes up with a design like that, and why doesn’t anybody stop them? Seriously, at least have the professionalism (and courtesy) to run proper QA rounds before you force this upon everybody. A simple cross-browser/cross-platform testing along with functional testing and maybe even run the GUI by a fresh set of eyes, isn't that the very basics of website development?
Most of the features either don’t work properly, or are somewhere where I haven’t found them yet. Ideally you would have set up a test page for users to play around and tell you what’s cool, and what could be improved, changed, or just ignored.
Right now it just looks like a cheap Windows 8 knockoff inside a heavy dark red velvet covered coffin.
Don’t fix it if it ain’t broken. And if you want to go mobile, how about a proper app, rather than...this.
A lot of the features that worked and worked very well on the site are now gone or poorly replaced. I appreciate eveything that you guys do, but i don't get why you didn't just improve the old site, instead of creating a whole new site. If something works, why replace it? Now we have this and we can give constructive criticism to improve it again, but when you just don't like it, it stops. I'm affraid a lot of the users will stop using the site, not just because it doesn't function as well as the old site, but just because they were used to a functional site that did what they expected and was simple to use.
The calander and the network activity were the two main reasons i used the site. I find the updates on both the features less practical than before, and the only constructive criticism i can give is make it back like it used to be. All the other remarcs about the new site are bugs or features the old site had that the new one doesn't have, but perhaps that will be fixed in the next couple of days. However the basics will stay the same and that's something you can't just fix.
The website went from good to horrible and nearly unusable. The red is blindingly bright and hurts my eyes, the calender is impossible to navigate so I can't check various weeks ahead or behind and I really cannot stress enough how much the blindingly bright red color scheme hurts my eyes...
Some important function that are missing are:
1) Where are the people (actors/directors) pages?
2) Cannot rate movies/episodes
3) Cannot unwatch something like in v1 site
It's bad,very bad .....
I've been with you guys for 3 years now, supported you with VIP since that option was available.
I'm sorry to say this, but after browsing the new site for a couple of minutes I found SO MANY flaws. I know there are a lot of bugfixes coming, but I think many of the issues I've found isn't bugs, more like GUI and feature choices.
The biggest one; why would you wanna use this GUI for desktops? I get that you wanna fix the GUI for handhelds and wanna make a similar GUI for desktop users. BUT, it feels like something my grandma would appreciate, gigantic squares with as little overview and no easy access to the little more "advanced" features..
There is just soooo much scrolling and searching for functions all the time.
When I visit the site from a computer today I get the same feeling of discomfort as when I'm browsing the web using a tablet/phone, and getting away from that annoyance is the main reason why I sit down with a computer for trakting in the first place..
I know you guys are constantly working hard, so hopefully we will see some change in the future. But I gotta say, trakt 2.0 caught me off guard and I think many of us longtime users are gonna have some trouble to adjust.
I stopped being a VIP as nothing new was being done. I now wish nothing HAD been done!
I would become a VIP again if the site reverted to the old design. All the features I used are gone!
I know you said they are coming back, but based on previous comments in your VIP forum and version 2 has been in beta for quite awhile, I believe most features will take weeks if not months to come back!
It seems to be v2 alpha at best!
This is an amature hackjob.
You guys pulled the plug on a working site and brought like some dev build that should've been in beta test for at least 2 months...
In my company people would be sacked for this kind of ... performance.
Can not believe what they have done. I was using trakt mainly to keep track of what I watched. Now I can not even find my library anymore?! Profile page give's a 404 found error and the site is damn slow!
The old site was much better and gave a clear overview. Now I can not find anything anymore. This is really horrible!
it's so messy
Also the Widgets don't existing anymore? I'm in a home theater Forum and it. was alias nice to show the other People weicht Movie I watschend at least.

As others have mentioned the site GUI looks like it was designed for phone and tablet users only, was that needed? Do a lot of mobile users even use the trakt website when they're are tons of apps available for them?
The server infrastructure needed work and for the I think you guys but the GUI overhaul comes off like change for the sake of change, it is a huge turnoff.
The new design is great! MY only complaint is my browser no longer keeps me logged in, every time I open it and come to trakt I have to log in.
I'm in love with all of the messages that came after the trakt guys answer but never read the answer. I so want all of the improvements everyone mentioned...including the guys that are making the changes.
If you're going to just rant, you can at least read.
What did you guys do? I loved this site for the history tab, it was so clear and useful. Now it looks like a huge mess! Every single episode appears, as opposed to seasons, or group of episodes, and it's not even organised by dates!
The pictures are also way too big. I loved Trakt.tv, and although the new design is nice, you completely ruined the basic functions. PLEASE, fix the history tab, and make it like before, please!

As a mobile user, this is what it looks like when I try to access an individual episode's page: http://i.imgur.com/dA7ecEu.png
Also, the new logo has nothing to do with television and looks like it was designed by a neo-nazi.
My whole collection is missing. How do I submit a ticket? I used the "contact support" form, is that it? I really hope I haven't lost the data for my entire collection.
Trakt sucks now! commented
Or or you know, you could of done a beta release to VIP a month or two or how ever long you needed in advance before hand to get everything worked out/added before throwing unfinished work into our face...
