Mark show as abandoned (or dropped) when you intentionally stop watching.
Mark show as abandoned (or dropped) when you intentionally stop watching.

Currently, you can hide a show from you calendar or progress page. Hiding from watched progress also hides it from your dashboard on deck. Hiding in those 2 places should work for most users.
This topic proposes a “dropped” status for a show. This would hide from the 3 sections mentioned above + add a “dropped” indicator in places such as the show summary page.

Why is it still not a thing to organize your tv shows like simkl and TV Time
I would love to put a TV Show on the following categories:
Watching
On Hold
Completed
Dropped -

Another highly requested feature that has been abandoned for 5+ years. What do we pay VIP for again?

Unfortunately Trakt has become like Orangotag was, a promising site for tracking media that has been abandoned by the developer. That's sad. Trakt is still the best choice out there, I think.

Having a way to see all the 'DROPPED' shows would also be helpful if you want to go back and see about watching it once again. I know i have a tendency to go back and checking on shows after a few years.

This has been here since 2013, I don't understand how this is still being researched. All the money that has been thrown at Trakt how is this basic feature not done already!?

Other apps like TVtime has the option to mark a show as watching, on hold, dropped or to watch. When I mark a show as on hold, I want to not see it on my dashboard, but still in progress, as I want to see it later maybe. Same for dropped, not on dashboard, but still on progress ( because I did watch some of it )

This would be even better if you could add how much did you watch from a movie/episode if you dropped it halfway. It would be nice to see what you already tried to watch once but got bored of it after 10 mins or so.

Hiding works for dropping a show. But I want to be able to drop a season. There are some shows that have been running forever where I have no intention of going back and watching them all. So I want the show in my queue when there are new episodes or episodes remaining from non "dropped" seasons, I just don't want it constantly in the top of my list with something I will never watch.
Some of the time I want the show or a season of a show to go away until it becomes available in one of my streaming services. That would be great as well.

It would be convenient to have a section or a category for the TV series stopped watching, and therefore there are no episodes to see.

I echo this: How about the ability to delete shows (tv or movies) you intentionally stop watching?

Hiding a show doesn't really do what we want it to. We just want to stop tracking the show, and having it show up in our Calendar and Up Next section. I can remove a show from my Watchlist, but if I've watched any of it, Trakt still acts like I want to keep watching it.
If you remove something from your Watchlist, it should just stop showing it to you. (Also, it needs to be easier to remove a show from your Watchlist. You can't do it from any episode or season pages.)

I have a movie box that I have my tv shows listed through Trakt which is either listed in collection or favorite which is great until I want to delete them from my TV. Why is it so difficult to have an icon that when you click on it it will save to your favorites, then if you click on it again it removes from favorites. I can't believe it can be that hard to do. I never watch shows on the computer or iphone only on the TV.
