Easier way to "unwatch" shows, season, and episodes
It's pretty easy to accidentally click the "seen" icon, but it's not easy to delete that "seen" status. The seen icon should de-activate the "seen" status if clicked when it is active. It should also be easier to mark episodes or seasons as watched. (MyAnimeList does this pretty well.)
Trakt 2.0 is easier to undo the watched and collected actions. You can just click the button again and it will ask for confirmation to remove it. You can also remove single plays from your history page this way.
this seems to be broken as well as hide this show from up next to watch.
Is there a plan to implement a way to batch-remove episodes and movies from history? Sort of like "press and hold and then swipe" to select multiple pictures in Google Photos.
I am struggling with multiple (+20) unwatched episodes of different tv series all of a sudden appearing in my Trakt history on a given day... Removing them one by one is pretty tedious
I use the SeriesGuide android app and it works wonders as far as unwatching accidentally marked episodes, seasons, and shows individually.
Exactly gamingexpert13; I made that mistake not so long ago too... I manually deleted every single episode again ;c. That's like lots of clicking with the confirmation and so, lol.
I went to the page for a tv show, and clicked on the "Watched Progress" button to view my progress (about 70 episodes so far), but with no warning it marked every episode in the entire series as watched (150 more episodes), and there's no way to undo that single action.
If I click the button again, it asks to remove ALL plays.
If I go to my profile page, it lists all hundred episodes as separately watched, unlike trakt 1.0 where it grouped them all in one history item.
So how do I undo that one action with one button?
Clicking on the chekmark in the history does not remove theitem. It just ADDS another watching. I now have a show listed 5 times in my history by clicking on the checkmark.
If you remove single plays from your history page this way does it mark the episode as Unwatched? I would like the option to remove from history but keep its status as Watched. I'd like to mark an entire series or season as watched without it being added to my Watched History.
On the old interface, we could delete the "watched" status, but on the new one, I douldn't find it yet ! The change date/time options on the "Watched" button it's pretty cool, but missing a clear "watched" status as accidentally we mark shows as watched...
Pretty Little Liars is showing up on my calendar and I NEVER put it on there. Utopia is showing up on my calendar which I did put on there but then I was able to take it off of the old calendar but I can not with the new calendar. I have many more examples that had a fix before the website changed but now it is so broken I just want to go somewhere else that works if we can not go back to the way things were. Also I want to hide shows I've watched like I used to be able to do.
i liked it much better before the changes. can anyone recommend a website or android app that works like traktv did before these changes?

It used to be somewhat hidden, but easy to remove individual watches of items. Now it seems I can only remove the latest. Is there a way I can go back and remove arbitrary individual watches?
I assumed http://trakt.tv/users/alias1/history/movies but the wording is 'remove all plays' so i'm hesitant to click it.
Yet another thing that doesn't work: The earlier version had a perfectly fine Watchlist for both TV Shows and movies which I regularly used with the Android App Series Guide.
Now I can't add or remove movies from my watchlist it simply says: "Doh! You can't remove a movie from your watchlist". What in the world is that supposed to mean? That I can no longer update my movie watchlist and simply have to leave it as it is?
Furthermore, it is impossible to add movies to lists. I have gone to great pains to create separate lists for all films I own on Blu-ray and DVD, now I can't edit these lists anymore and they are useless. And on top there is no FAQ or forum or whatever to really discuss these issues or get any help.
Really annoying, I loved the website as it was before!
Can we have the earlier version of the website, plzzzzzzzzzzzz, it was so simple and easy to use, now its a disaster, i can't rate any shows now.
how can i rate something? wtf traktv
Tom i agree 100% with you....why change something that works very good?
The 2.0. version of the site is a disaster. All my hidden shows suddenly appear again and there seems to be no way to hide them or delete them (unless I manually unwatch each episode, which is far too much work). Everything is too big, so I currently use the site at 67% zoom. The history is one big mess, with no episode screencaps, no separations into dates; it's just useless. I may have to find another site to keep track of my TV, because this is giving me an aneurysm.
How can you rate movies or tv-shows?....i can`t find anywhere.Trakt 1.0 was better
Also forgot to mention the hover over delete in history has gone (can't find how to edit my previous post sorry about that)
Exactly what I came here to post. Same with Check-In sometimes I'll decide to watch something then change my mind & I need to cancel it. You could do delete the check-in on the old site.

Yes and if you use the XBMC plugin with these problems, it will keep marking shows watched or unwatched regardless of what you select in there.
The whole reason I signed up for trakt was so it would post my "watchings" into FB, but I can't even get it to do that correctly. So goodbye account, and good bye annoying XBMC plugin.
Oh and another fun annoying thing right here! I'm currently logged into trakt, but I still have to put my email address and name to post a comment here??? (As if I'm in guest status) WTF?!?!?
Stupid ass website. Very poorly designed, poorly debugged, poorly thought out.... Plus the person that started Trakt thinks Yo! is still cool? Here's one for him... What-evvaaaa!
