How can we improve Trakt?

Trakt app won't sync after show is watched

i have kodi 18.3 with the xanax build and synced my trakt account with the genesis app. my genesis tv collection sync'd with my account and lists all my shows but after i watch an episode the app won't sync and mark it as watched.

i've reauthorized twice in the app, went into the build itself and authorized the entire platform but can't find an answer on my own.

any ideas?
