Netflix and other platforms are starting to premiere seasons all at once, making the calendar (I have the grid view) really long. I think that if 3 or more episodes premiere on the same day you should do like a stack, saying that season X premieres, or that episodes 14 to 26 premiere or something like that.

When I follow a friend is because I want to know what they watch.
I can go thought the network and find out but it would be nice to have some sort of notification system like facebook that shows what have your friends watched recently that we don't know about.

When you go onto an Actor/Actress profile there should be a progress meter similar to the TV show one where it would tell you how many of the movies you have watched of the actor. This could also include a hide watched function. For example, If I were to go onto Chris Pratt's page it would show that I have watched The Lego Movie and Guardians of the Galaxy. It would also say that I have watched 2 out of 25 things he is in. There could also be another function to filter TV Shows and Movies. Thank you.

Mark show as abandoned (or dropped) when you intentionally stop watching.

I know you declined this for all movies and episodes that haven't been released, because you're not sure if the release date is correct, but could you at least disable it for more distant release dates? (not including episodes with missing dates)
If you enable rating about a month before something's released (maybe earlier if that's necessary), you should be able to know if the exact release date is correct, right?

I think that it would be great if you can add quotes of a movie or show you want to remember (something similar seen on seenth.at) or you just simply found something interesting and you want to write it down for yourself (similar to the notes on goodreads)

Alternate show dates for different regions (i.e. Doctor Who on BBC America vs. Doctor Who on BBC One)

I'd love to see some other media forms (manga, books, video games, etc.) on the site so I can track everything in one spot.

When looking at the progress page, I can see all the shows I have started, but have unwatched episodes for. If I look at my collection, it's all about finishing the collection.

I'd like to filter/combine that together a bit more. I'd like to see a list of shows that I have in my collection, yet haven't finished watching. That is, ny show I have with unwatched episodes. Possibly with another option to only show the shows that I have a complete collection for (so I don't get stuck in the middle).

It would be great to follow or like people (actors), so trakt can notify me about new movies of this person or use this information to recommend movies with actors I like/follow

It would be great if more options for sorting could be added (by director, genres....) to watchlist, library, ratings and all other places where you can sort movies and shows. I use my watchlist do decide which movie/show to watch next and library/history to go through movies/shows that I have seen when I want to recommend some of those to friends or family, so those options would make it much easier. Thanks.

Everyone has characters that they like or don't like. It would be nice if we could say "Like" or "don't like" so we can see which personage is loved or hated. Maybe add an option to tell why you love or hate them

if it is possible can you add a link to Metacritic.com for Movies and TV Shows, like the links to wikipedia and IMDb. It would be good to see critic reviews and scores for Movies/TV Shows

Add Seen up to this episode/season button, please, it is a core feature IMHO.

Often times, I don't watch movies or TV shows alone, but with friends. It would be nice, if only one person would check into a movie/show and mark the others. That way you could not only track which shows/movies you have watched, but also with whom.

If you would like to make things more complex, you could link a foursquare profile to your trakt account and check in (movies/shows) those friends who are checked into the same venue as you are. But that's maybe over the top ;)

When browsing the dashboard or home page on trakt, I occasionally find some interesting movies or TV shows that I would like to preview.

I thought it would be neat and convenient if a user can hover over a poster of a movie or TV show, and be able to view a trailer straight from trakt without having to search for it on youtube or through some other media source. Bascially if a user, hovers over the poster and clicks play, a pop out embedded video of the trailer would start playing.
