How can we improve Trakt?

You've used all your votes and won't be able to post a new idea, but you can still search and comment on existing ideas.

There are two ways to get more votes:

  • When an admin closes an idea you've voted on, you'll get your votes back from that idea.
  • You can remove your votes from an open idea you support.
  • To see ideas you have already voted on, select the "My feedback" filter and select "My open ideas".

  1. The Hotel Inspector - rogue/incorrect episodes

    I've been updating the pages for "The Hotel Inspector" on TVDB and TMDB and both correctly list season 10 with 8 episodes, yet on Trakt it is showing a rogue 9th episode:

    Similarly, season 13 is only 5 episodes long (both TVDB and TMDB both correctly list this fact), but on Trakt it is listing is as 8 episodes long, with the last three episodes being duplications of the final three of season 11:

  2. Reference a new Apple TV App : Movie Trailers

    I recently add Trakt feature on an Apple TV app named Movie Trailers that use Trakt to synchronised watched and watchlist movies.

    I wondering if it could be added to the Apple TV Apps directory ?

  3. The View season list is wrong, possibly bugged

    The American daytime chat show 'The View' seems to have some ghost seasons from a previous import of data. I regularly update and refresh the show's data from TVDB and TMDB and neither have "Season 2015", "Season 2016", "Season 2017", and "Season 2018" listed (anymore, at least).

    Is it possible to force update/remove those seasons? It looks a bit messy and is also incorrect since the seasons technically run from the autumn of one year through to the summer of the following year, rather than annually.

  4. Progress page layout

    I don't know if it's just me but, using the website on my phone, every time I see an episode image in the progress page my eyes automatically look for the show title below it, and vice versa, so it would be great that the image was first and the details last.
    Again, only mobile, desktop looks great.
    I think that, as most websites with this kind of lists use this proposed layout, my brain just gets confused when I enter this page.

    Due to how the website works and the responsive layout, we can’t shift the next episode above like that. However, what I can do is add the show title on the screenshot just above the episode number and title. That should make it more clear what show the episode belongs to. Update will be out later this week.

  6. Dynasties (2018) has wrong number of Season 1 episodes

    The television show Dynasties (https://trakt.tv/shows/dynasties-2019) has the incorrect number of episodes in season 1. There are only 5 episodes in season 1, whereas the last its showing "on location" as episode 6 is actually a special. This is consistent with information on TVDB as well.

    These episodes do not exist and require removal. The TVDB links you will see are 404.

  8. Fix incorrect TVDB ID for series

    The series Too Old to Die Young (https://trakt.tv/shows/too-old-to-die-young) has an incorrect link to The TVDB data. It should link to https://www.thetvdb.com/dereferrer/series/361979 instead of 347283.

  9. Remove "Despicable Me" as show

    Please remove "Despicable Me" as a show. It's obviously a serie of movies (all already present), not a TV show.

  11. Duplicate movie: History of the Eagles

    The documentary "History of the Eagles" has multiple entries.

    One of them is a "Show", because it also aired in two parts on Showtime, but I'm pretty sure it should be considered a "Movie".

    Series name "Locked Up" in spanish called "Vis a Vis" is duplicated a few times.

    In thetvdb.com they have alredy deleted the duplicated.
