We have a lot of support tickets and are working to update the site and issues as fast as we can. If you don’t get a reply right away, it’s not because we’re ignoring you, but because we are working on updates. Thanks.

Add notifications for “friends starts watching” event
Add Desktop/Pushover notifications on friends activity.
For instance, when I am following someone I like to keep track of what they are watching to see if there's something interesting for me.
Instead of only exploring my friends' activity on my dashboard I would like to receive real-time notifications when they start watching a movie or episode.

Syncing edited, liked, rated comments or replies itself with API insufficient
Recently you had an all around update on comments. Great! Finally!
Yet it wasn't anything like reporting comments, or giving us a way of ignoring certain people. But at least a step in the right direction. But one thing in particular is disappointing here:
It seems you did the same mistake again as you did with last_activity.In terms of last_activity:
If a user edits any comment, commented_at of that user would change.
But you'd have to sync ALL comments ever written by that user because you have no chance knowing what or how many comments were edited (or in…3 votes -
Getting TMDBid syncs should request them from TMDB
I've added plenty of movies to TMDB over the years but always having to pull them onto trakt once first before they can be synced is not a great mechanic. I always end up having to sniff the missing ones out in the kodi debugg log... It would be great if the actual TMDBid's which are provided would at least get added to a queue of things to pull once.

Ignore apostrophe and accents in search
Right now if you search a title (e.g. "L'illusionista") without putting the apostrophe, the search will not find anything.
It would be cool if the search API was more forgiving and simply ignore any missing apostrophe or accented letter.

Fetch hidden/progress_watched for other users
Would it be possible to add an API to fetch the hidden/progress_watched list for other users (respecting privacy settings)? I would like to use this as a proxy for whether the user intends to continue watching the show.

widgets for most watched movies, most popular shows, top box office.
I don't need widgets to see what I've collected or watched, show me stuff I may want to watch, what is popular, new, etc. Those are widgets I'd use.

Alexa app needs an update
I use the Alexa skill for Trakt TV, but the skill does not recognize the following utterances:
* This week, when was Emerald City on?
* Did I miss Emerald city this week?
* When is Emerald City on? (she replies with "I didn't catch the date")
* Was Emerald city on this week? (Your calendar has the following two shows on Sunday ... <neither of them is Emerald City)The skill is obviously not cuing in on the show slot.
*7 votesHey Ron
Currently the Alexa app doesnt support this type of behavior.
All of the current utterances are based around the calendar and what’s on a certain day. In the case of movies, I have it list the entire week since there are far fewer movies than television shows on in a given week.
Eventually we’d like to move towards the behavior you are suggesting, but I’ve had really terrible results when trying to have it recognize free form slots of variable length like that. I’m currently trying to get back through the cert process with the UK english language support for the current features.

Add YouTube video links to episodes
A good amount of shows have canonical versions of their episodes uploaded on YouTube.
It'd be useful if there was a way to "link" episodes with those specific YouTube videos.
This unique video ID (the part after /watch?v=) would ideally be exposed through the backend for API clients. As for the website, instead of embedding the video, a simple link would be fine since I don't think you guys are interested in turning Trakt into a viewing platform.
The reason I'm interested in this is, it's always been a hassle to keep track of your subscriptions and the content you…

Import Blu-ray collection from Blu-ray.com
It would be great to allow the ability import our Blu-ray collections from Blu-ray.com. on Blu-ray.com each user has a profile collection page. This would save us adding every movie separately to our Trakt movie collection.

Show a chart of the ratings per episode for every season/entire series so that you can see if the show getts better/getts worse.
It would be cool so see that the first season of a show is better then the last one. Maybe you saw the last episode aired on your tv, thought is had a reasonably interesting concept, but not good enough to want too keep watching. Then you could see if the first season got different ratings and realize; "Maybe it's worth watching after all!"
I think a graph would give it a better look, and make it easier to understand and read.

Rss Feed For Recomendations
It would be nice to add an RSS feed for Recommendations so that could be integrated with ifttt.

On Deck always shows latest episode of series to check into not last marked episode
I honestly don't even know if I'm describing this correctly but I shall try. I don't always watch shows from the first episode, especially if watching on TV. For the past month, when I check into a show that I have watched previously, if I check into an episode that aired BEFORE the episode I just checked into, it always shows the episode AFTER the one I checked into long before.
For example: I checked into The Andy Griffith Show episode 8x24 then started watching the show again from Season 1 and checked into episode 1x01 but my Recently Watched…

Let us remind ourselves why we added a movie to our Watchlist (with a note)
You're going to love this idea. Ok, so we're human, right? We have 24 hours in a day, 9 of those are spent working, and we get about 2 to watch a movie or some TV. We've all got way too many movies on each of our Watchlists, and many us, by the time we get around to watching some of these movies we added to our Watchlist, we've totally forgotten why we added the movie to it in the first place (why we were interested), especially when you added it for some reason like, a friend recommended it to…

Include '<' and '>' Buttons in Thumbnails to Navigate Through Episodes/Seasons
We can already navigate through seasons/episodes by clicking the '<' and '>' arrows on the covers at the top of pages such as this: http://trakt.tv/shows/archer/seasons/4
I would appreciate this function to be available in the thumbnails of episodes and seasons as well. IDEALLY, the '<' and '>' arrows would appear on the left and right sides of the thumbnail only when the mouse hovers over them, so that it doesn't obstruct the image until necessary.
Another alternative (though it's less beneficial) is to only show the '>' arrow at the bottom of the thumbnail between the 'Manage lists' icon and…3 votes -

Watching duration
It would be nice to get an overview of how long it took to watch every season of a tv show.

Comments with progress timestamps (in e.g. XBMC)
When you are watching something and you see a specific scene, it could be neat to have the ability to post a comment for that specific time in video.
E.g.
Comment: "Best quote ever! owned!"
Stamp: Game.of.Thrones.S01E02.720p.HDTV(00h27m57s-00h29m07s)11 votesInteresting idea, will have to see if/how something like that can be done. It’s mostly going to be up to the media center or mobile app, who would need to send the timestamp.

Share badges with Achivy.com
I know the badges for Trakt haven't even really launched yet, but at some point it would be really great if they could be shared to Achivy. I imagine this would just be a question of making the badges available via the Trakt API so they integrate them into Achivy, right?
